Mark Twain PTO


What is PTO?

If you have a child enrolled at Mark Twain Elementary, then you are a member of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Our PTO aims to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of Mark Twain Elementary.

What we do...

Our goal is to complement school curriculum with a variety of additional opportunities for parents, teachers, and students to socialize, communicate, learn, and grow, such as:

  • Movie Night
  • Ice Cream Social and BooHoo Breakfast
  • Room Parents’ Classroom Halloween and Holiday Parties
  • Field Trip Transportation
  • Fall and Spring Book Fairs
  • School Picnic and Silent Auction
  • Holiday Shop and Mother's Day Plant Sale
  • And MANY more!

Volunteers are needed throughout the year. We will email sign-up sheets out periodically, and we also encourage you to contact Amanda for help finding additional opportunities to volunteer. There are many roles to fill and your help makes a difference! Volunteers need to complete background checks and watch a video. Please see Cristie Hembree in the office.
