2019-2020 Focus: Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the conscious awareness of our mind, body, and feelings in the present moment. It’s about listening to ourselves and accepting our thoughts and feelings in the present. There are many ways we can practice mindfulness: breathing techniques, grounding, progressive muscle relaxation, meditation, journaling, the list goes on.


Each month students are being introduced to a new mindfulness technique. Make sure you ask them what they’re working on this month!
