Brentwood Fine Arts Night Showcases K-12 Creativity, Talent and Expression

The Brentwood community is invited to experience a districtwide celebration of creative expression at Brentwood Fine Arts Night on Thursday, April 23, featuring student artwork and performances from across the district’s K-12 schools.

The evening kicks off at 3:15 p.m. in the Brentwood High School Large Gym with a showcase of student artwork, highlighting a wide range of pieces created by middle and high school students. The BHS Jazz Band will add its signature sound with a live performance from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

At 5:30 p.m., the event expands to Mark Twain and McGrath elementary schools, where each school will host its annual art show. Families are invited to explore colorful, imaginative works created by Brentwood’s K-5 students in each school building.

The evening continues at 7 p.m. with the opening night of Brentwood’s 6-12 theater production of “High School Musical Jr.” in the BHS Auditorium. Based on the popular Disney Channel movie, the musical follows Troy, Gabriella and their classmates as they navigate friendships, expectations and the excitement of stepping outside their comfort zones to pursue their passions. With upbeat songs and an energetic cast, the show delivers a fun, family-friendly message about being true to yourself.

Additional performances will take place April 24-25 at 7 p.m. in the BHS Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults.

From elementary art displays to live music and theater, Brentwood Fine Arts Night offers something for everyone and highlights the creativity, talent and expression of Brentwood students at every grade level.
