Specials: Growing Well-Rounded Learners

At Mark Twain, learning extends far beyond the core subjects. Our specials — Art, Music, Library Media, PE and Health, and Spanish — give students opportunities to explore their interests, express their creativity and develop new skills that foster academic and personal growth.

Through these experiences, students discover that learning can take many forms — whether through movement, creative expression, language or collaboration. Each class encourages curiosity, confidence and connection, helping students grow into well-rounded learners who see the world through multiple perspectives.

By engaging the mind, body and imagination, our special classes help every child find their passions and build a lifelong love of learning — one that extends beyond the classroom and into the world around them.

Explore each class below to see how our specials inspire students to discover their strengths and talents.
